Huntsville is one step closer to securing the Ironman Canada.  With the support of the town, Tri Muskoka has submitted a bid to move the triathalon from Penticton to town, joining the 5150 and the Ironman 70.3.   If the bid is successful, Huntsville will be the only place in the world to hold all 3 Ironman competitions.  Huntsville was selected as one of three locations to host the event on the weekend.

Kyra Watters of Tri Muskoka says that the economic impact of having Ironman Canada in Huntsville could mean up to a $20million injection into the town’s economy.
