The countdown is on to the start of the Ontario 55+ Winter Games begin in Huntsville. The Games, which run February 26-28th next year will borrow heavily on the town’s experience hosting a variety of other winter games, most recently, last year’s Para Sport Winter Games.
Holly Abraham, Chair of Sport Alliance Ontario said that Huntsville’s community engagement through volunteerism has contributed to success hosting outstanding Ontario Games and look forward to the same in the 55+ Games in 2013.
The Games website launched yesterday with a list of venues, accommodations, individual sport information, schedules, sponsors and It is a one-stop online shop for everything athletes, volunteers and the community need to know the event.
