Port Sydney Fire Station 3 was called to a report of smoke in the basement at Trillium Lake Resort at 6 30 last night. Upon arrival, thick smoke was observed coming from the basement. Huntsville Fire Station 1 assisted in the call. Fire damage was contained to kitchen offices and part of basement, however smoke damge is throughout the lodge. The cause is undetermined at this time, but moments before spotting smoke lightening appeared to hit the building.
