Mushrooms Tainted With Listeria

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning the public not to consume certain Highline Mushrooms' sliced white mushrooms because they may be contaminated with listeria.

They are sold in 227-gram containers bearing lot code L410805 followed by a four-digit time code and a best before date of 12AU15.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.

Highline Mushrooms, based in Leamington, Ont., has voluntarily recalled the affected products from the marketplace.
